Monvanityideal migration
I rebuilt and migrated Blendly by Mon Vanity Idéal on my own at CHEDAR: a French beauty platform with 333,866 members and 224,978 reviews.

Problem
Blendly by Mon Vanity Idéal is a French beauty platform: advice articles, about 30,800 product pages, 1,350 brand pages and a large community. Its public counter shows 333,866 members and 224,978 reviews. The whole thing had to move to a new platform without losing members, reviews or the old URLs that people and search engines already link to.
What I built
I rebuilt the site and ran the migration on my own while working at CHEDAR. The new version is a Next.js App Router site, packaged with Docker and self-hosted on Coolify behind Cloudflare. A staging copy deploys automatically from the main branch; production builds from its own branch.
Legacy article and product URLs still resolve next to the new ones, so
existing links keep working. The site generates its own sitemaps (products,
brands, articles and tags), social preview images and an llms.txt for AI
search engines, and it ships a strict Content Security Policy and HSTS. I
also added automations to the day-to-day running of the site.
My role
Solo developer. At CHEDAR I build software for the group's different businesses, and Monvanityideal is one of them: I designed, built, migrated and deployed it myself.
Stack
Next.js (App Router with partial prerendering), Docker, Coolify, Cloudflare (Turnstile and Insights), Google Tag Manager and GA4.
Result
The platform now runs on the new stack with its community intact: 333,866 members and 224,978 reviews on the public counter, about 30,800 product pages, and the legacy URLs still working.
